Hearing Dogs for Deaf People is offering the lucky winner of its 2009 prize draw the opportunity to name the latest recruit. This fantastic competition is sponsored by the Petplan Charitable Trust which, in addition to supporting this prize draw, recently awarded a £5,000 grant to Hearing Dogs.
This grant was used to fully train a hearing dog and it has now been homed with its grateful owner.
As part of its schooling, the hearing dog will undergo expert social training so eventually it can provide 24/7 support for a deaf person. If you would like a chance to name a special canine friend, visit www.petplantrust.org to enter the competition.
