Petplan and The Blue Cross

Here at Petplan we love pets! Many of us are pet owners ourselves so we were delighted to be given the chance to help less fortunate animals through the Petplan Sponsorship Scheme.

Teaming up with The Blue Cross gives everyone at Petplan the chance to sponsor their own pet. Staff can choose a cat, dog, rabbit or horse, receiving a photograph of their new furry friend and a certificate showing their support. In return, The Blue Cross receives a donation from Petplan which goes towards supporting all the pets in its care.

Speaking of the scheme, Petplan staff said:

'I love my cat – everyone who comes to my desk says how cute she is!' Jill Angus – Petplan Retention Marketing Executive.

'I live in a flat and I am out all day so I cannot physically care for a pet. For me the sponsorship scheme therefore provides the perfect way to take ownership and contribute to a pet's upkeep.' - Carl Stephens – Petplan Communications Manager.
