Webster – Labrador Retriever

Webster came to Blue Cross with his siblings as strays. He is a very sweet natured and sensitive soul who has not had the best start in life. He is a real cuddle bum, loving nothing more than to sit on your lap, enjoying lots of fuss and attention.

He is growing in confidence and could live with an older dog that would be a good role model for him, or even a confident cat.

A family environment would be fine, but he would probably be better suited to older, more sensible children as he can lack confidence at times. For your opportunity to give a home to Webster of any of Blue Cross' dogs, just click on

Errol – Staffordshire Bull Terrier

Errol arrived at the centre as a stray. Errol is a highly social dog who thrives on human company and attention. He is quite insecure and needs confidence building. He isn't keen on being left so this will need to be built up gradually over a period of time.

He is of a lovable nature and is very keen to please. He is great off the lead and will stick close to his handler. He is bright and trainable and works well for food rewards.

Roxy – Rottweiler

This very pretty girl is Roxy. She is a very sociable dog and would be happiest as the only dog in her new home. She loves going out to the woods and around the fields, enjoys going off lead in our secure compound and will retrieve a ball, but she can loose interest quickly!

She also loves having attention, having a fuss made over her and being groomed. Roxy knows all of her basics and works really well for food. She could live with older children and has good history of being left for 4 hours.
