Petplan Wins Veterinary Marketing Award

Petplan have won the coveted Consumer Media award at the annual Veterinary Marketing Association (VMA) Advertising Awards.

Petplan customers revealed that their pets play an important role in every stage of their owner's relationships, especially when it comes to choosing the right partner. Nearly a third of dog and cat owners say they would incorporate their animal into any legal agreement before marriage. Also a tenth of cat owners told Petplan that their feline friends play an important part in determining who they form a relationship with. So in the case of "it's me or the dog" - the dog often wins!

Alison Andrew, Marketing Manager at Petplan comments, 'As pet insurance becomes an increasingly competitive market, it is of vital importance that our advertising stands out to consumers. The picture of health campaign resonated with the Petplan philosophy that we are the 'pet people'.

We are delighted to be recognised by the veterinary industry for our hard work and innovation in consumer advertising.

Petplan was also highly commended in the Electronic Mail category for the 12 Days of Christmas campaign.
