Petplan Junior Stakes finalists found in Darlington

Qualifiers for the last Petplan Junior Stakes Final 2011 were selected at last week's Darlington General Championship Show.

Hosting the Petplan Junior Stakes Qualifiers new format, the Darlington General Championship Show saw over 200 dogs enter the qualifiers, across the seven groups making the competition extremely close.

The group winners through to the Petplan Junior Stakes Final 2011, which will be held at the Manchester Dog Show Society, at the New Bingley Hall, on the 18th January 2012, are:

Petplan's Head of Marketing, Isabella von Mesterhazy, commented, "We are really pleased with the success of the qualifiers in Darlington. The event was well received by the general public and we managed to attract a strong group of competitors."

Qualifying rounds for this year's Petplan Junior Stakes were also hled at the Bath Canine General Championship Show, Southern Counties Championship Dog Show and Blackpool Canine Society. With entries at all four qualifiers up on 2010 this year's series highlights the continued success of the series which now has been running for 17 years.

As part of the Petplan Junior Stakes qualifying series Petplan is also giving breeders and dog lovers the chance to win a VIP weekend for two to the Amsterdam Winner Dog Show, taking place in November 2011, which includes return flights and three nights accommodation, admission to the show, dinner and drinks.
