Petplan veterinary awards 2006

It takes compassion, devotion, and a special talent to become a veterinary professional. If someone in your practice has all that, why not show your appreciation by nominating them for an award at the 7th annual Petplan Veterinary Awards.

Petplan, the UK's largest pet insurance provider, is asking people all over the UK to nominate deserving candidates for any of the four categories - Vet Nurse, Vet Receptionist, Vet Practice and Vet of the Year. An independent panel of judges will pick the finalists and they will be invited to attend a glittering awards ceremony dubbed the 'Veterinary Oscars', on the first day of the BSAVA Congress in April.

This year, for the first time, the public will also have all of their nominations put forward for 'The People's Choice Award'. Petplan receive so many heart-warming stories from small animal and horse owners, whose nominations are so different from veterinary colleagues, we wanted to give clients the exclusive chance to tell their stories from a unique and personal point of view.

Everyone's a winner!

If the individual or practice you have nominated is the eventual winner, they will win a selection of prizes and you could receive £250 worth of Leisure Vouchers to spoil yourself with!

Don't forget that for each nomination received, Petplan will also donate £1 to Petsavers, the charity that funds studies into illnesses and injuries that commonly affect our pets.

The closing date for the People's Choice Award is the 3rd March 2006.
