Animal Health Claims win Customer Care Initiative of the Year at Insurance Times Claims Excellence Awards 2014

We are delighted to announce that last night Allianz’ Animal Health Claims department won Customer Care Initiative of the Year at the 2014 annual Claims Excellence Awards, hosted by Insurance Times.

The judges praised the department’s excellent use of technology to keep the customer informed at every step of the process, commenting "they have a clear vision for the future, and are revolutionising the way that claims are handled".

The award marks the incredible results achieved by the department over the past year, reflected in their most recent BUNPS score of 77%, a dramatic increase of 10% from the previous year. Their dedication to continuously improve the customer journey has transformed their claims processes to include Customer BACS, a 33% rise in Eclaims, SMS updates and more.

Allianz fought off strong competition from Aviva, Hiscox and Ageas at the event, which was hosted at Senate House.

The award was presented by James Rayner, Head of Global Markets at GAB Robins.
