Local woman wins weekend spa break

Jayne Burgess, of Brierley Hill in West Midlands, has won a spa break to Champneys, for four people, thanks to Petplan, the UK's favourite pet insurer.

As part of Petplan's 'Healthy Pets, Happy You' campaign, in conjunction with Champneys Health Resorts, they offered pet owners a chance to win a fabulous VIP weekend spa break for four people worth over £1000. The luxurious stay includes body massages, relaxing facials and unlimited use of facilities, including swimming pools, whirlpools, gymnasiums, dance and exercise classes, tennis courts, sauna, steam rooms and five star dining.

"I was completely surprised" said Jayne. "I had completely forgotten about the competition because I thought there was no chance I would win. I don't ever normally win anything, and this is such a great prize from Petplan. However, I still haven't decided who I'll be taking with me for this spa break."

As part of their campaign Petplan also created a new helpful booklet for pet owners called 'Healthy Pets, Happy You'. The booklet provides pet owners with practical, fun and useful information on how to carefully look after their pet, whether they own cats, dogs, rabbits and/or horses.

The booklet features tips and advice on diet, exercise, training, behaviour, welfare and safety, and also includes fun quizzes, entertaining facts and figures, cute animal photos, interesting case studies and much more.
