Winners announced for the 2010 Vet Awards

Petplan, the UK’s largest pet insurance provider, is delighted to announce the winners for the prestigious 2010 Petplan Veterinary Awards, which took place at a glittering awards ceremony and gala dinner at the Birmingham Town Hall.

With over 1,800 nominations from customers and colleagues, the Petplan Veterinary Awards acknowledge staff and practices throughout the country that have gone beyond the call of duty to help care for the nation’s pets. The awards are also an opportunity for Petplan to thank the veterinary profession as a whole for the outstanding dedication and level of care they provide to animals.

Alison Andrew, Petplan’s Marketing Manager was thrilled by the success of the awards, “This year we celebrated the 11th anniversary of the Veterinary Awards which are an opportunity to recognise the tireless and outstanding work of veterinary staff. It’s been another fantastic year for the awards, there was such a high calibre nominations and it was topped off by a glittering awards ceremony. We would like to say congratulations to the winners and also thank you to the finalists and all those that were nominated.”
