Charity Prize Draw

Each month, Petplan holds a charity draw to award a re-homing centre with a £500 prize. To enter the draw, all a charity has to do is issue 4-weeks free cover to their adopters and supporters alike; either through our pet insurance cover note, or via a voucher. It’s simple for the charity to be part of the competition and provides a genuine lifeline for some of the centres across the country.

As one of our lucky winners explains:

"We are absolutely elated to have won £500 from Petplan," says Jenny Foxall Lord, Manager of the Mayflower Sanctuary. "We really appreciate the generosity, as it couldn't have come at a better time…our store room caved in and caused damaged to our iron roof and framework. It's unfortunate because that's where all the food, blankets and equipment are kept, so the money will go towards fixing and restoring the storage room."

Since the prize draw began, Petplan has awarded over £25,000 to charities across the UK; helping to fund shelter improvements, fund raising days and even topping up those hefty food bills.

Petplan is committed to aiding the valuable work that re-homing shelters do. Charities such as Battersea, Cats Protection, Blue Cross and Dogs Trust are just a few of those that have, and will continue to benefit from both our pet insurance and our on-going support.
