Despite their name, Dutch Rabbits originated in the UK rather than the Netherlands. These intelligent, gentle rabbits are easy to train and make great pets for young children.

Vital Stats

Size: Small to medium, weighing about 2kg (4.5lb).
Coat: Short, glossy fur, which is usually white with black, blue, grey or chocolate markings. Minimal grooming required.
Lifespan: 5-8 years.
Temperament: Intelligent, gentle and easy to train - needs lots of social interaction.
Special requirements: Dutch Rabbits thrive on affection, and need lots of toys and stimulation to keep boredom at bay.
